Every year Fortune Magazine rates the 100 Best Places to Work.  From 1998 to 2005, the companies that Fortune rated as the Best Places to Work had their stock prices go up 176% while the DJIA only went up 38% and the S&P only gained 42%.

 

 

 

According to ModernThink, great places to work get twice as many applicants and have half the turnover of the average company.  In addition, their employees use 25% less sick time.
